Use of Our Animal Pictures by Students and Teachers

RIDACRITTER, INC. hereby grants permission to students in schools, colleges, or universities anywhere in the world to use our animal photographs in their school-related projects. In all cases, RIDACRITTER, INC. should be credited in a footnote or in another manner that is suitable to the assignment or project.

Students are not required to obtain permission in advance to use our photographs provided that they provide proper attribution in the completed project. However, if having students obtain permission from the copyright owner in advance is part of the assignment, requests should be sent by e-mail to webmaster [at] ridacritter [dot com].

Privacy

Rid-A-Critter respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at this site.

Collection of Personally Identifiable Information

Anyone may browse any area of this Web site without providing any person information at all. The only times we collect personally identifiable information are:

1. When you initiate a contact by submitting a contact form or sending us an e-mail.
2. If you apply for a job using our online employment application.

Other than the above, we do not collect personally identifiable information via this Web site.

Use of Personally Identifiable Information

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

• To collect and process your payment.
• When required by law or to comply with legal process.

In addition, information provided by individuals who apply for employment by submitting an online employment application will be used for purposes that are customary when evaluating job applicants, and that are directly relevant to evaluating an applicant's aptitude, skills, background, driving record, references, and suitability for employment.

We do not share personally identifiable information except as follows:

COPPA Compliance

We do not intentionally market our services to children, nor do we knowingly collect information from visitors who are under the age of 13. We cannot be held responsible, however, for misrepresentation of age by any visitor.

Web Server Behavior and Statistical Data Collection

Like Web servers in general, our server collects certain data about visitors to our site. This information does not contain personal information such as your name, address, e-mail address, or telephone number.

Information collected by our server includes (but is not necessarily limited to):

Why Do We Collect IP Addresses?

There's nothing mysterious about an IP address. It's just the way computers identify each other. Without your IP address, our server wouldn't know where to send the pages you request.

Photo and Video Retouching and Editing

Most of the photos on this site and videos uploaded to our associated YouTube site are unedited and unretouched except as follows:

Still pictures may be cropped or marked to highlight the relevant areas, resized to fit on the site, optimized to reduce file size and increase loading speed, watermarked for copyright purposes, combined to show before-and-after images, and occasionally color-corrected to correct for artificial lighting.

Videos may be edited to remove irrelevant portions, watermarked for copyright purposes, and color-corrected to correct for artificial lighting. The audio tracks may be manipulated to reduce background noise or "beep out" profanity. (Yeah, it happens sometimes.)

All media may be pixilated or blurred to obscure things like license plate numbers, house numbers, or the faces of people who do not wish their likenesses to be displayed on the Internet.

Warranty Information

Animal-free warranty

Complete / full exclusion or repairs. All full exclusion work performed is covered by Rid-A-Critter's Exclusive animal free warranty, a lifetime renewable warranty. (First year is included in repair cost).

If ANY animals enter your HOME during the warranty period, we will remove the animals and seal the entry area at no charge. Rotted wood and repairs removed for any reason are not covered.
