Raccoons are handsome animals with "masked" faces and and ringed tails. In fact, a lot of people think they're cute But raccoons have a darker side.
Wild raccoons are very strong, very unfriendly, and very dangerous when cornered. And like other urban wildlife in Atlanta and North Central Georgia, raccoons can transmit serious diseases. They're susceptible to rabies, mange, and many parasitic and arboviral diseases.
